Big Boys Toys …

Those of us who make quilts know that quilts are made for touching… except when on display at major quilt exhibits. There are always signs telling you not to touch, even though those tactile creations of colour, texture, light and shade, are just calling out to be stroked and cuddled.

Well it seems that it’s not just quilts that present this dichotomy, so too do some ‘big boys toys’!

There must be ‘Quilt Police’ lurking nearby!

At the recent “RACV Classic Showcase’ held at the Flemington Racecourse, those ‘Don’t Touch’ signs popped up too. The showcase included the Annual Concours for both The Mercedes benz Club and The MG Club, along with many other classic English and European vehicles.

These sample photos are for the ‘big boy’ in your life to admire, just as we admire quilts.
